10 DAY PROGRAM
The journey will be a mix of work and leisure.
To be able to create a relationship of equality and trust, many activities will be with all the entrepreneurs together. We believe that mutual understanding is created during fun activities and in an informal setting and not just with the focus on business. However, there are obviously also moments for free time and the freedom to go for lunch or dinner by yourself.
The Social Impact Journey aims to create a
win-win-win situation for everyone. First of all, the journey should benefit you. You as a person, an entrepreneur and as a tourist.
Equally important, local entrepreneurs should benefit from the journey. Together we can create a positive impact, both in terms of personal development as well as business value.

This program is designed around equality, trust and value creation for all participants. Not only you will share your skills and experiences, you will also get many insights from the Ugandan business-owners. The majority of the entrepreneurs have to deal with a lack of resources, no options to get a bank loan and have to be very creative in finding ways to start and run their company. What can you learn from them and how can you implement this in your own business?
The final day-to-day program has not been defined yet. We are very happy to learn from you what you would like to take out from this journey and what you could contribute as well.
Share your thoughts and the final program will be announced later!
The main house offers six single rooms, all with a double bed, a small desk and a place to store your clothes. Besides, there are 4 bathrooms and 2 toilets, which will be shared. There are 2 fully-equipped kitchens There are two living rooms, a large outdoor patio in the back and two smaller patios in the front of the house. The house will never be unguarded. During the day, Sarah will be there and she can also do your laundry if needed. At night, Patrick will keep you safe
We will stay in our own house, which is only a 5-minute walk away from Acacia Mall, the cities largest shopping mall. You won’t find the authentic Ugandan lifestyle here, but you will find everything you might miss when being away from home. There are a big supermarket, lovely coffee places and nice restaurants in the area. It’s safe to walk at night.
For the trips to Uganda, we work together with Enterprise Uganda, a local organization promoting entrepreneurship and business growth. They know the businesses and they understand their needs. Together we select 5 entrepreneurs who will be part of our journey and whos enterprises can develop more. The entrepreneurs will pay a fee to participate in the program.
Who are these entrepreneurs? We aim to create an interesting group of people who can all benefit from each other. Based on your experiences and sectors, we will find the local businesses that are working in similar fields.
